Accessible Seating

The Granada offers wheelchair accessible and companion seating on every seating level. Patrons in wheelchairs also have the option of transferring to designated seats. Please contact the Box Office to reserve wheelchair seating or request other assistance.

Listening Devices

The Granada main theatre space has an infrared based Sennheiser hearing assistance system. Sennheiser receivers are issued on a first come, first served basis. Please arrive early to obtain headsets prior to curtain. Inquire with an Usher. A credit card is required for deposit.

Latecomers

As a courtesy to other patrons and to the performers, latecomers and those who exit the theater during the performance will not be admitted into the auditorium until an appropriate interval as determined by the performance management.

Children

Each child, regardless of age, must have a ticket and sit in a seat. As a courtesy to other patrons and the performers, please bear in mind that it is not appropriate for small children to attend performances where silence is necessary to fully enjoy the performance. Lap seating is never permitted. If you have questions about the appropriateness of a performance, please don’t hesitate to call us.

Cell Phones and other Electronics

As a courtesy to both patrons and performers, please turn cell phones, pagers and watch alarms off before the performance begins. Please, no texting during the performance. Photographing or recording the performance is strictly prohibited.

Lost and Found

To inquire about personal belongings that may have been left in the theater, call (805) 879-3681 Ext. 154.

Smoking

No smoking is permitted inside the theater including lobbies and restrooms. To smoke outside, we request that you leave the area under the marquee.

Parking

Paid parking is available in a variety of downtown city operated parking lots. The parking garage closest to The Granada is located behind the theatre on Anacapa Street between Victoria Street and Anapamu Street. Standard event parking is $5 per car paid upon entering the parking garage.

Lost Tickets

Lost or misplaced tickets for Patrons Circle, Ovation Circle, and Theatre League Members are replaced for free. Phone or stop by the Box Office and we will replace them for you. We are unable to mail replacement tickets.

Ticket Exchanges

Only Patrons Circle, Ovation Circle and Theatre League Members may, with no service fees, exchange tickets for another performance of the same show. Tickets may be exchanged up to 24 hours before the performance in person or by mail.

Patrons exchanging to a higher priced ticket will be charged the difference, due at the time of the exchange. If exchanging into a less expensive ticket, the balance is non-refundable. Members will be assigned best seating available at the time of exchange.

Tickets are non-transferable between shows.

Ticket Donations

If you are unable to attend a performance, your tickets may be donated as a tax-deductible contribution. Tickets must be returned to the box office two hours in advance of the performance, enabling The Granada Box Office to make your seats available for resale. You may also donate your tickets by phone at least two hours in advance of the performance. Tax-deductible contribution acknowledgements will go to the original purchaser.
